An observation about the list headers

Has anyone else noticed that, when sending to the general list
addres (frameusers@frameusers.com) the TO: and CC: headers are
re-written?

I notice this especially when I reply to a message posted to
both frameusers and "framers@omsys.com", and the second address
is consistenly missing from the message relayed by frameusers.

Why is this?  Isn't a little healthy competition and the broader
disemmination of questions and answers a good idea?
