Hello, Framers.
I'm having a problem with the way my index is numbering a particular
chapter; the rest of the 28-chapter book is fine. This is a new
chapter I've added, and I copied it from another book, so something
about it is different than the other chapters. What I think the index
is doing is numbering the pages within the whole book rather than the
pages within the chapter. For example, instead of the pages being
25-1, 25-2, etc., it's showing as 25-351, 25-352, etc. Yes, I have the
Restart at 1 option selected in the chapter setup from the book file,
and the chapter itself is numbered correctly. I have completely
removed the index, saved the book file, and created the index again
from scratch, but I still get the same problem. Does anyone know what
else can cause this besides the Continue/Restart at 1 option?
I sincerely appreciate any help you guys can provide. I'm on digest,
so please direct responses to me offline at michelle_parcell@g1.com.
Thanks so much!
Michelle Parcell
