You could always convert the Interleaf files to EPS
(by deleting everything else & printing to file, if
nothing else), then import into Illustrator for
editing/final touchup.
I did something similar recently -- recovered
graphics from a PDF file whose source files were
lost -- and Illustrator was happy to take on the
orphaned graphics. You could, most likely, get
the graphics out of Interleaf faster than I got
them out of the PDF.
