RE: Character Tag Instructions Correct?

Thank you for confirming this information. What I didn't include in my
message is the instruction that continues. Here is the rest of paragraph:

   The following character tags were created to enable 
   you to restore or change the current formatted 
   appearance of the text:
     [Font:NewCent] changes the text to New Century 
     Schoolbook 10 pt, the standard font for body text.
     [Font:NewCent9] changes the text to New Century 
     Schoolbook 9 pt. This format is sometimes used 
     within table cells.

So, to return to the default formatting, we're to apply a second character
tag over the first, with no instruction on Default Para Font.

I would say no. The only problem is if you apply character formatting
to an entire paragraph. You then create a paragraph format override,
in addition to having a character format applied. To remove the
character formatting in this case, you must apply the Default Para
Font as well as re-apply the paragraph tag.

In all other cases, there should be no problems removing character
formatting.
