Windows TrueType moment

Framers:

I was sent a TrueType font of various bullets.  I dragged it into the
c:\Windows\Fonts directory BUT it won't show up in Character Map,
WordPad, and (natch!) FrameMaker.  The Windows Help refers to a non
existent menu in the Fonts folder for adding fonts but also suggests the
drag and drop method I used to transfer it from a floppy disk.

So, how to make it show up.  Particularly as the source of the font sent
me a FrameMaker file that uses it but the Frame console sez 'The
"VariousBullets" Font is not available. "Times-Roman" will be used in
this session'.   Grrrrr!
